Staff are friendly and helpful. Nice to see the same staff members each time we come. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the restaurants on site. Room was nice. Man at the front desk is so nice and friendly. The J Resort is our new go to hotel/casino in Reno. Look forward to our next visit.

My mom needs to use a handicapped bathroom and the restroom by the front desk handicap stall was out of order the entire duration of our stay. Whenever we were gambling in that area or at the restaurant she had to walk all the way over to the other restroom, and she already struggles with walking (uses a cane). We told front desk but seemed like there was nothing they could do. Other than that, would have liked a comforter on the bed or something a bit more substantial than sheets and a very thin blanket. More 40 cent slots would be nice - hard to find slots that weren't 80 cents to a dollar.

It wasn't a big property so it made the stay very pleasant. Garage elevator went straight up to our room so there wasn't a need to cut through casino if we didn't want to.

Our bathroom shower walls could have been wiped down a little better

Room was great. Staff was friendly.

Check in time was supposed to be 3pm. We arrived at 4 pm and were told the room was not yet ready and we had to wait a while. As we did. At 4:30 the room was still not ready and were told to wait some more. No offer was made to have a complementary drink or something like this. Just wait. At 5 pm another visit to the reception : still not ready. Then I explained that we had been traveling by car for a long while and wanted to shower and rest. Then the reception person suggested to change our room to one that was ready (couldn't this have been suggested when we arrived in the first place???) This is not very acceptable. After this the room was nice and clean.
