La Jolla Shores Hotel

The best experience we had by far, was with the friendliness and professionalism of their staff. They gladly met all of our requests without hesitation. From the front desk, to the restaurant staff and housekeeping, all exceeded expectations. Thank you for making our vacation experience a lot better.

We loved our room overlooking the ocean! It was so easy to access the beach and restaurants in town.

Loved the amenities. And it was perfectly located on the beach. Loved the ping pong tables and fire tables. Pool area was great.

Great location, easy access to the beach. Walking distance to various cafes and restaurants. Hotel doesn’t have a dedicated parking, but they can arrange a $45 a night parking for you on the ground floor. Street parking is free, but can be a challenge to find a spot. Property is older does and could use a refresh. Our room was ocean view, but overlooking the public restroom, which i did not expect for $400 a night. I did not find beds comfortable, but thats individual..rooms are clean, staff is nice and try to make sure you enjoy your stay to the max, which is nice. The area itself is great for family stay. What we loved the most was the location and the overall vibe, in the end of the day you don't go there to stay in the hotel all day long.

Need to work on room cleanliness, outdated and dirty carpets. Cleaning staff not as friendly. Overall hotel is very convenient to the beach and restaurants.

I need to know where they get their pillows!!! Love that hotel- my first time. My only issue was the father of a baby who was staying next door to my room knocked on my door telling me to tell my daughter to not sing at 8pm because his baby was going to sleep. We immediately complained to the front desk.

We love the location of this hotel however it is very dated and needs modernising. Also, lots of young people kept using the hotel pool / hot tub who were not guests, they need to find a better way to stop this as it disrupts all hotel guests relaxing round the pool area.

Pillows are very flimsy. Adding better sturdier pillows to support the neck while sleeping would add to comfort.

Noisy rooms near pool and street. Not worth the cost. Next to ocean but air conditioners of other rooms drowned it out.

Location was perfect. Would think it would be a little more updated and more "bougie" for it being La Jolla and for the price but it was clean, quiet and nice
