Santa Ynez Valley Marriott

Our room and the main areas of the hotel were very clean. Breakfast was excellent & pool area is great. They ran out of pool towels & did not restock, but I was able to get one from the front desk.

I have stayed at this property before. Rooms are clean, bathroom is clean, great selection of cable channels, very quiet room and ac. Amazing pillows and very comfortable bed. What stood out this time around was Daniel. Daniel runs a great breakfast operation at the Marriott. He was the Greeter, server, manager, and along with the Chef kept restocking everything. Between doing all that he made sure the coffee cups were full of hot coffee, the water glasses were full, and the fresh orange was always flowing. They have one of the best buffets you can get for a value priced $19.95, If the management folks at Marriott are looking for a future GM not afraid to get his hands dirty and willing to pitch in to get the job done- Daniel is your man!

Wonderfully located at the 101 Freeway and very close to a variety of wineries in all directions. Our room was spacious but the bathroom was quite dark and did not have a magnifying mirror and the balcony was a little larger than a French balcony with no furniture. The buffet breakfast was reasonably priced with excellent servers. The lobby bar/restaurant was comfortable with an ample menu and good service. Food was excellent. While our room overlooked the freeway we had zero noise in the room. Plenty of free parking. While we didn't see inside, even saw a sign for a racquetball court. The "Legacy Passport" was a bonus we didn't expect and we did use it.

Great staff and location. The rooms were clean and well stocked.I highly recommend this hotel.

our only difficulty with hotel: my husband fell out of the bathtub onto the floor because there was no friction pads on tub floor. Hotel is lacking quality control. We asked for at least one day comp but Marriott explained Expedia would need to refund us. Hotel met other expectations: relatively clean, staff was very accomodating.
