Friendly staff and comfortable bed. Food was also good

lack of usb charging points. i would expect the hotel o have usb charging in the room there was also insufficient plug sockets in general in the room

Location was good as was attending concert at the Utilita Arena and close to bars etc

Supposed to be a double bed in the room but was made up of 2 single beds pushed together

On arrival the staff were welcoming and friendly. The reception and bar/restaurant area are very pleasant. However this is where the good points end. The downstairs toilets are most unpleasant and need upgrading. We stayed in a standard room (107) which overlooked a rooftop. The main complaint was the room itself. Several disgusting looking stains all over the carpet. The room didn't smell too pleasant either. The shower ran hot and cool. The cleaning staff obviously do their best as the room wasnt dirty as such, but heavily stained carpets are just unforgivable. The room was extremely drab and uninspiring and the lighting left much to be desired. On the plus side, breakfast was lovely and good location. However I would not stay at this hotel again, there are far better for a similar price.
