"Pleasant and functional."

Room was spacious but I think the bed may have seen better days. Very quiet but we did stay midweek.

Room needs an update, but bathroom very good. Mirror on the desk / dressing table would have been useful (lots of mirrors in the bathroom and one in the bedroom but on the desk required for make up etc)

"Great hotel, staff and location but could do with A/C when it is hot and WI-FI needs to be improved."

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good. The grounds/terrace are peaceful and a nice place to have an evening drink.

The room was very hot and no A/C - we had to leave the windows open all night on the ground floor (worth noting it was the hottest day in May ever, so we were probably unlucky). WI-FI/Broadband was weak and unstable.

"Very special stay"

My partner and I booked the luxury treats package for our last get away before baby arrives and this experience did not disappoint. Despite there being a wedding on, all of the staff made sure our stay was extra special. The food was incredible, afternoon tea, dinner, and breakfast all absolutely amazing, special shout out to the chef for the homemade sausage rolls! The room was lovely, very airy with several windows overlooking the grounds. Overall lovely stay, would 100% recommend. Also very central to walk into woodhall spa which was really close by, good for me not being able to walk far 9 months pregnant in 30 degree heat!

"Wonderful retreat"

Beautiful setting, gorgeous room and bathroom. Lovely staff. Very quiet, comfortable and relaxing. Recommendations: The reception is not worthy of the grandeur of the building. Difficult to navigate and inadequate. Wonderful receptionist though. She is too good to hide! The breakfast room is lacking in ambiance compared to the rest of the hotel.
