Excellent spacious room and bathroom ,ample tea,coffee& biscuits & toiletries,very quiet , excellent location close to kinema shops pubs, very nice selection of food at breakfast very clean and inviting, ample parking would definitely stay again . No complaints

Lovely hotel and needs only minor tweaks! Beautiful location and gardens. Excellent breakfast and very attentive discreet young staff. Our room, number 3 in the main building, was excellent and very clean. Great shower. Minor niggles were the rather off hand female receptionist on our departure morning. ( not the same as who checked us in). I’ve never understood why it’s so difficult to say ‘good morning’ or ‘safe journey’ etc. or simply smile. I’d definitely return as it’s a familiar family area and great stop off hotel. Woodhall is quaint, pretty with plenty of coffee shops and eateries. The Indian is especially good ( India village)

We were all very impressed with every aspect of this lovely hotel. The grounds are very pretty. My room was spotless and large with lovely bath products. The food, both evening meal and breakfast, were delicious. The chef even made me a bespoke pasta dish as I do not like gnocchi and it was very tasty. Most of all though, all the staff were so lovely, very kind and friendly. Thank you all very much x

Our ground floor room in the lodge was more or less on a car park , a car was parked directly under our window , the lodge was very noisy doors banging , inconsiderate people shouting about in the foyer adjacent to our room , breakfast not worth the money the bacon so hard you couldn't chew it , I asked for mushrooms with my scrambled egg got one flat mushroom yogurt in a jar to spoon out no separate pots of different flavours pastries were very dry
