"Pretty, but overpriced"

Beautiful from the outside. Inside, it was clean and roomy. But the room furnishings were seriously lacking and not up the expected standard. The bed was adequate, but not particularly comfortable. The bathroom was quite nice. Breakfast was very good, but very expensive. Overall, it was a nice hotel but seriously overpriced for what we got.

"Save your money for site seeing and stay elsewhere"

Very pretty Chateau but the rooms are nothing special beyond wallpaper. The wallpaper in our room (a premium room) was peeling and the tub literally took an hour to fill up. The staff were polite but not what is expected of such a high rated hotel. The grounds and exterior were gorgeous, but for the price the room definitely left us wanting more, the bed was very hard- plus the description read balcony and there was no balcony. Nice place though.

"Loved it!"

I wanted to surprise my husband with a charming classy hotel, and thats just what we got. I recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Strasbourg. Very close and easy to get to city center. A must stay!!!

"Chateau de l'ile"

We got there late in the evening. The room was warm and the spare bed was ready. There was even a bathrobe for our little girl. Nice and quite. Great staff, helpful and professional.

"Renovation -Renovation"

The rooms need urgent renovation with new carpits and cleaner toilets. our toilet had rust stain and looked disgusting. Room no. was 320 , superior room.

"Amazing French Countryside Stay!"

We had a wonderful time at the Chateau - the staff was incredibly helpful, breakfast and dinner were wonderful and the drive to Strasbourg and the Route De Vin (Wine Route) so incredibly convenient. A must-stay in France!

"Wonderful hotel"

"Chateau d'Ille - lovely 19th century chateau"

The chateau and grounds are wonderful - an elegant and peaceful oasis within 10 minutes of Strasbourg's centre ville. The staff were professional, friendly and very helpful, particularly Mylene, who spoke perfect English and provided us with valuable information on the Strasbourg area. Perfect three-day weekend in one of the most delightful cities in Europe.
