Embassy Suites by Hilton Monterey Bay Seaside

Loved staying here. Rooms were clean and modern, service fast and friendly and ideally located in a safe area near the highway, not far from beaches and local sites.

The complimentary $15 came in handy, the room was actually clean and shower had good pressure In room dining was pretty tasty too.

The first thing I noticed walking up is all the trash cans were full outside. the restrooms in the lobby, by the fitness center, so filthy. And breakfast in the morning was a challenge with only two working elevators . the indoor swimming pool, looked like it hadn't been cleaning for sometime. Not to mention sooo many kids in there at once. But.... Our room did have a balcony , sitting outside in the freezing cold. That was pretty cool

The last min undisclosed 15 dollar resort fee. And we had to use 15 dollar credit at gift store. That was odd

Very friendly and professional hotel. The breakfast buffet was great. It is close to all the sites in Montetey I would gladly stay again.

The omelets were yummy. The happy hour food from the grill was amazing. The bussers in the dining room area were very nice.

The first floor tile was disgustingly sticky and dirty. Poor chefs looked like they were overwhelmed with guests (omelet line was so long) and couldn’t catch their breath. Dining tables were dirty (dining hall seemed understaffed because everyone there was working very hard but just couldn’t keep up with the number of guests). Zero water pressure in shower, AC was horribly loud even with earplugs, carpet was not vacuumed after previous occupants (small bits of trash all over carpets), bedding and sheets were very wrinkled (like they were slept in).
