Comfort Inn Acworth - Kennesaw Northwest

We were told they just closed the pool for renovations. Upon further reading of reviews, it seems we were lied to and it’s been closed for months. Should not advertise a pool. Our room smelled damp and musty. We got in late and left early because of the smell. No one was in the lobby or at the desk to complain to. I would not recommend this property.

The pool was closed and they said it was because of an inspection. The breakfast was very lacking.

Not enough staff. Hard to get a response without going to front desk

They said there was a pool but it was out of order. Filled with dirty nasty water with mold and mildew. The ac was ok. It would get very warm at night. The bathroom was hot because there was no air vent in the bathroom. I was very unhappy.

My husband checked into the hotel and at first was told it was $334..00 for one nights stay. He laughed at her and she offered to show him the screen. She then said she could do $175. We knew the hotel next door was booked up and she was taking advantage of tired travellers. One in our room I began to unpack and settle in, then I looked closer at our room. Rusty Kleenex box holder, a ceiling that looked like it was going to cave in. The HIGH SECURITY locks between our room and the adjoining one. Upon checking the shower area I found mold under the handicapped seating rail. The air conditioner unit was damaged not the cleanest. I wished I had read the reviews because these same issues were mentioned back in 2019! Still poorly kept and needs a total overhaul. Do NOT STAY here, even if you’re dead tired. Wish we hadn’t.

I myself did not go to breakfast. My husband did he said he ate there and came back to the room. He did mention that there was a sign that you can't take your food to your room.

Less slamming doors in the hallways.
