Days Inn by Wyndham Columbia Mall

We had a 2 night stay. Our room smelt like rotting wet dog or something. We went to use the pool and hot tub after a 4 hour drive with someone With back problems the hot tub was a main reason for choosing this hotel. The hot tub was so hot it was unsafe to use. We reported it to the front desk. Was told it would be checked into. The next day we had another 3 1/2 car ride so went to use the hot tolu. And it was still burning hot. This time the last from the front desk came and checked the temp and it was 127 degrees. The first morning went to make waffles for my daughter and the waffle makers were not turned on so she didn't get to have waffles because we had to leave before waiting for them to warm up. Overall it was a horrible experience. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I put up my foreman there and he had bed bugs and had bite marks all ovee his body.

The staff were excellent and responsive to clients needs. The hotel however smelled like cigarettes/mouldy smell.

Check in was easy and staff were friendly! The room was spacious enough and clean. As we were in the far corner, the WIFI was essentially non-existent, which wasn’t ideal. The pool also look a bit murky so we did not use it. But good value for money.

I’ve booked with DaysInn in the past and I have never had a room like this. fairly disappointed. It didn’t feel like i was staying at a hotel. I couldn’t use the TV or use the room phone because half of outlets in that room didn’t work. I couldn’t check in right away because there was a lady on her own phone call in the back swearing up a storm; that had went on for minutes… hearing everything she was saying to whoever she was talking to. it wasn’t for for public to hear while you’re at work. the counter bell wasn’t in sight to use, I had to call the hotel’s phone to get her to come out to the lobby. once she got there, “simply” placed the counter bell back on top of the counter from behind a computer screen she pulled it out from; said she had no idea why it got out there, and giggled. that whole situation took an overall 10 minutes. For that firsthand experience at this location. the only thing I would say that was actually decent about the hotel was the respectfulness of privacy and the lady who check me out of my hotel room, Michelle. I don’t believe I would be coming back to this location. Also, find a new better replacement instead of the lady who checked me in on July 2nd between the time 3pm-5pm. she’s an older lady with black hair.

Always a great stay. Friendly staff, clean rooms, decent breakfast all for a reasonable price. Our go-to place to stay.

We were in town for a soccer tournament & your location was perfect for getting to everything we needed & the games. The breakfast was excellent.
