Opal Key Resort & Marina

The room was great Clean and loved the Keurig

Our patio was dirty and unusable

Its walking distance from main streets, restaurants and bars.

The Hotel is in the marina where all cruise ships arrive, expect thousand of people walking outside your hotel room from an early time since most of the rooms have balconies with “marina view”, the only thing you will see is a massive cruise ship parking in-front of your room and crowds. Its not a peaceful place to be. Its very expensive for what it gives you, the hotel is split in two buildings, one with all the amenities (pool, restaurant) and the other one with the parking lot and funky smell.

Das Hotel hat eine optimale Lage, direkt am Meer und direkt im Zentrum von Key West. Die Weihnachtsbeleuchtung war außerdem wunderschön. Auch das Personal war freundlich.

Schade war, dass wir für den Preis den wir bezahlten kein Frühstück im Preis inbegriffen hatten. Es wurde uns im hauseigenen Restaurant mitgeteilt, dass es ein "Frühstücks- Package" gibt, dies war aber im Nachhinein nicht mehr möglich zu buchen.

The room was nice, updated and bed was very comfortable. Staff were very friendly, helpful and pleasant. Everything was well tended to and nicely supplied. The location was great for walk ability to everything yet very quiet at night.

The pool area was not very spacious and felt a bit crowded but they did the best with the space to accommodate guests and we enjoyed our pool day. We mostly went to beach instead. The fitness area and some hallways smelled sort of musty.

Centrally located beautiful view when ship not in port nice staff convenient garage in site

A little confusion re my room booking ended up with pool and ocean view on 4th floor.. no breakfast but coffee shops nearby
