lovely facility! Beautiful appointments, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, plush towels, and good pillows. Food was excellent - room service was a little pricey (I ended up spending almost $60 for a burger and a drink...) but it was one of the best burgers I've had in a long time! Staff were excellent - knowledgeable and helpful.

"A charming and upscale location"

The location is wonderful. It's connected to an upscale outdoor shopping area with a charming atmosphere. It felt safe to walk around and there were plenty of great restaurants nearby, both in the hotel and in the surrounding blocks. It's a 10-minute walk to the metro, so access to the airport and downtown DC are also convenient.

"No recognation of your Hyatt status"

The hotel is good, but you do not receive the recognition and the benefits as a Hyatt Explorist (as an upgrade). The people at the reception even took the time to explain why an upgrade was not granted, and they looked bored to be questioned. There was a mistake between my reservation and the final bill - the girl told me that my reservation was wrong! The mistake was corrected only after I talked to Mrs Mylie Rogers (Operations manager) - a lovely lady with the politeness and attention that was lacking in almost all others.
