Hyatt Regency Reston

We enjoyed our stay. Went for a company holiday party. Room was large and comfortable. Only thing I didn't like was hearing a vacuum at 8:00 am after being up late the night before. The hotel is located near shopd and great restaurants.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5.0 out of 5 stars Short but enjoyable stay! The room was clean and comfy, perfect for our one-night getaway. I loved the extra layer of security with the keycard access to our floor. Hotel check-in/check out process was a breeze. Bonus: the location was prime for hopping in a Lyft/Uber/Taxi to our holiday party at another hotel - literally less than 10-minute heads up and we were rolling! Would definitely stay again!

This is a great hotel located in the heart of Reston, Virginia and close to Washington Dulles Airport (IAD) by either the Washington Metro Silver Line (which has a stop right at the airport and also at Reston Town Center (RTC); I like to walk, so that's what I did (about 10 minutes) but I believe the hotel can also arrange for a pick-up at the RTC metro station if you prefer), or by Uber, Lyft or taxi. The hotel is well-designed and -constructed, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Reston is an upscale town that is delightful and safe. There was a festive Thanksgiving parade when I was there and everyone was having a fun time. There is a popular and excellent restaurant directly connected to the hotel named Capital Burger, which gets rave reviews for its burgers and other entrees. The service is top notch. Additionally, there are numerous restaurants only steps away, including the respected North Italia. For those wanting something a little less fancy, there is a Chipotle a block away, along with many other dining options. One will definitely not go hungry at this location. There are also several charming retail stores in the town center. The hotel has an indoor pool, sauna and well-equipped gym. If you upgrade or have loyalty program access to the Regency Lounge, you can enjoy a great breakfast plus evening canapes on weekdays. (Check with them regarding their Lounge schedule.) The thing that really distinguishes this hotel is its team. The Front Desk representatives are knowledgeable and helpful. The housekeepers go the extra mile. (Special thanks to the delightful Maria H. for ensuring that I always had enough bottled water.) Mika in the Lounge is hard-working, thoughtful, smart and terrific. And the senior management (particularly Alex and Anil) is off-the-charts superb. The executives truly care about their colleagues and guests. If anything isn't 100%, they make it right with a capital R. I was extremely impressed by the team, and in my experience, it's a hotel team's commitment to superior hospitality that takes the guest experience to a different and higher level. The team at this hotel absolutely distinguished itself in this respect. Overall, it was an outstanding stay in every way.

The best hotel to stay if you are in Reston. The hotel is in the town center, the perfect location in the area. The staff is incredible and the rooms are huge and very clean. The heated pool and hot tub just enhances your experience at any time of the year.

Awoken without warning at 3:30 a.m. for over an hour while the Hotel was attemting to repair some plumbing infrastructure issue... which did not appear to work as there was no hot water for a shower in the morning!
