Ameriview Inn and Suites

This hotel needs a redo. There are too many patches and bad paint jobs. The carpet was disgusting as was the bathroom. The air was off when we arrived and there was a smell

We have stayed here a few times now, definitely not a 5 star hotel but for somewhere to lay your head for a few days, it gets the job done! Gentleman that works the desk is always super good to us and makes sure we have a pleasant stay while we are there.

The outside areas needed to be cleaned more. There was large piles of bird poop under several lights that had birds nest outside of rooms. There was cobwebs everywhere outside. The sheets and blankets had a not so clean smell to them. The refrigerator barely kept items cold. The bath tub was stopped up and drained very slow.

Quiet visit

Staff took care of my special needs with no problem. Staff was professional and courteous. Overall better than the 3 star I stayed at previously.

Pol was closed

The guys running the front desk were great, very apologetic with the conditions at the property. With the said, pool had been closed for 2 years due to White County regulations, according to the staff. Bathroom door wouldn't close, one of my most dissatisfied stays in a motel and ive been in close to 100 in my life.

There are so many resort hotels in Helen i believe they have a maid service problem. I liked the hotel, good value for the money. Management was very helpful when there was a problem. Hotel room and exterior looked very good, just landscaping andgrounds could use some TLC. Pool was not open, in terrible shape but would be a great asset to the hotel.

Did not stay the night. Checked in at 3:00 met friends that had traveled to the city at a different hotel. Did not feel safe at Ameriview Inn with my family. Certain observations and activities caused concerns so we left at 8:00 pm and drove home.

It says there is a pool….the pool is green with frogs in it! The first room they put us in smelled like dog pee…the second room didn’t smell but the floor was very soft and felt like you would fall through in certain areas. The shower was disgusting the shower head had mildew in it and was barely hanging on. Do not stay here!
