Great location, close to main downtown sights. Comfortable bed and friendly staff, very helpful.

I’d go the bakery up one block for breakfast instead.

What a great hotel!!! The staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions. Our room was perfect - clean and spacious and the hotel lobby is welcoming. We are picky about our accommodations and Hotel Lucia did not disappoint!

Be careful rooms are small

A quaint little spot in the heart of downtown Portland. Has complimentary coffee in the morning in the lobby, a free happy hour from 5-6, and a decent fitness room. Our room was decent sized though the bathroom is pretty small and the sink not very functional. The biggest issue: The AC in our room said it was working but the temp never got below 76 which made it difficult to sleep. Thankfully the management empathized and offered a fan I could use to try and stay cool at night! The other bummer: they didn’t mention on check-in they don’t do daily maid service, so we were surprised after coming back after a long day to a dirty room. That said, it’s an all around nice place to stay in a great part of town.

It’s an old hotel which has great charm, but the rooms are SMALL (there were not enough outlets) and we got placed in an “inside” room which looks straight into another building and below was a rooftop. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We were only there for one night, so it was fine for the 14 hours we were there. Bed was comfortable.

This is a lovely, clean hotel in a perfect walking location. There is water, coffee, and tea available during certain periods of time, in the lobby. My room was lovely, clean, and quiet. Appointments are what you would expect. There is a Happy Hour where a couple of beer selections are available. Overall, just a very pleasant stay.

Good location for weekend graduation activities! We were able to walk to all venues. Two good breakfast / coffee shops nearby and the Oregon Wine Shop (and bar) - also nearby - is great for drinks and takeaway bottles.

Sadly, Portland battle with homelessness is evident. Despite obvious efforts to manage it, there are occasionally disturbing sights, although we did not feel unsafe. This is not an easy matter for any community to resolve.
