Caring, friendly staff enhanced the pleasant stay at this beautiful hotel. The room was superior in all aspects, from design to comfort. The hotel was a 10 minute walk into the city center. I loved the sweet turn down service for the evening, where a little treat was left on the coverlet. Pool area was beautiful and well maintained. I would definitely stay here again, and recommend it to others. It was the best hotel I stayed in during my six week trip in Europe!

Very good hotel, not the hotels fault but a new building is being constructed over the road which I no doubt will be stunning when finished, while this is going on some noise can be heard, but I did not mind this.

First class hotel with very helpful staff. Breakfast is far too expensive per adult, especially when a good alternative can be had within walking distance.Perhaps an English thing but the lack of tea/coffee making facilities in the room is a big loss; however this would not stop us staying there again. Spa/Pool area is excellent. The hotel is situated @ 5 minutes from the main train station and @ 5minutes from the city centre.

The hotel tries to be a real luxury establishment but fails on a few major points. Our room smelled of smoke every morning, probably because the cleaning staff includes smokers. We asked to have the AC fixed but it never improved. The hotel breakfast buffet was delicious and plentiful, but no one told us (and it was not posted anywhere) that the price was an astounding 25 Euros per person. Wireless access cost extra as well. The garage fee was also exorbitant at over 20 Euros per night. What initially seemed like a good deal through Expedia turned out to be much less so. On the plus side, the reception and wait staff was unfailingly helpful and friendly.

Marvellous hotel and well worth the bargain price I paid. Everything about the hotel was of a high standard. We didn't try the breakfast/parking/bars/restaurant, as they were out of our price range, but the hotel is a short walk from the centre or the railway station for cheaper eating.

Wonderful service by staff who really cared about your needs. As near perfect as you can get! Location was just right-10 minutes into town.

Nice hotel, good location, the reception staff were very polite and courteous but the woman in the pool area was proper miserable and po-faced! The pool temperature was supposed to be 26ºC, but felt more like 16ºC. Perhaps that's why it was always empty. I thought the breakfast was a bit overpriced at 25 Euros each per day. On the plus side, the small touches were nice; the housekeepers leave a little card on your bed each evening with tomorrow's weather and a couple of chocolates when they turn the room down. The finishes in the room and the hotel were high quality.

We happily got upgraded to a junior suite!! Went to Leipzig to see Bob Dylan and Mark Knopfler and they were staying there!!! Saw Mark at breakfast.

SUPERB HOTEL, WELCOMING AND PLUSH. BUSY TRAM LINES OUTSIDE AND BUILDING GOING ON OPPOSITE BUT THE LUXURY OF THE HOTEL MADE UP FOR THAT. DIDN'T BUT BREAKFAST AS IT WAS VERY EXPENSIVE BUT THE DINING ROOM LOOKED SUPERB. LOTS OF GOOD RESTAURANTS IN CENTRE.
