The Hoxton, Chicago

I experienced what appear to be bed bug bites during my stay at The Hoxton, Chicago. I developed multiple bites overnight and am now experiencing full-body itching, which is very concerning. I reported this to the hotel and provided photo evidence. They confirmed they are involving pest control, but I have not received any meaningful update. The front desk staff were professional and kind, but this is a serious health and safety issue that should be addressed immediately. I strongly recommend the hotel investigates this thoroughly to prevent other guests from experiencing the same situation.

The young lady who checked me in was absolutely outstanding—knowledgeable, welcoming, and very good at presenting everything the hotel offers (events, live music, food, etc.). The front desk staff the next morning were also kind and professional.

I woke up covered in bites, which appear to be bedbug bites. I immediately reported it to the front desk (room 1023), showed photos, and checked out. While the staff acknowledged it, the follow-up from the hotel was essentially nonexistent. I sent an email—no response. Later I received a text asking for photos, which I provided, but after that… nothing. No follow-up, no concern about my health, no update about the room, no accountability.

Great Fulton Market location. Mixed experience with room quality/cleanliness. Excellent reception staff and valet. Lounge is great, good food with inconsistent service in Cira.

Great experience!! Trendy hotel and great atmosphere

I rarely want to review a hotel, but I was so impressed with my experience at The Hoxton Chicago. When you walk in you immediately pickup the lovely energy in the lobby restaurant- well designed, big, bright and airy and also cozy and intimate. The check in folks were so friendly and upbeat and set the tone. The rooms are a great size, the bathroom tiles are beautiful and the shower head dreamy. The ability to work easily from the lobby restaurant was so nice - the food and coffee were amazing and every staff I interacted with was friendly and kind. Fantastic location in the West Loop and overall a great hotel and staff. *Do want to mention that the hotel runs next to the L- so if you don't want a room thats next to the above ground train tracks, be sure to ask for that. Otherwise it is part of the experience
