Quality Inn Marianna South

The water was warm but definitely not hot. Could have the hot water on full blast and no fear of being burned. The AC worked great!! The property is right off the highway and we were in the building the farthest from the highway and next door to a nicer well lit hotel. Wasn't as well lit as other properties around but still did feel safe. Bed/pillows - The bed was pretty soft but so was the base of the bed every time I would toss and turn. The base seemed to have a lot of movement so it definitely was not high quality. Our was definitely a pet room. Fairly strong dog urine smell but after the AC had been running it was not as strong. Really the carpet needs a shampooing or to be replaced; no shoes on it really felt grimey. Peeling paint over sink and really just some low quality repairs when it came to drywall and painting. Really for me the price was great. I wasn't expecting much for 70 bucks a night but based on some of the reviews of other hotels in the area this was really a good deal. Breakfast was very limited but did have cereal, breads, yogurts and a couple of warm items; eggs. The small fridge that had the gallon of milk and yogurt was very warm. Based on everything I list above I would stay at this property again. At least having warm water, an adequate bed and really good AC with a pretty good rate worked great for me. If I was traveling with a family with young kids that tend to be on the floor playing more than normal this is not your hotel.

The room that my family and myself stay in had a bad odor. The bathroom smelled like old urine. The smell was so loud when the door was open, the smell overcame the room. My son went to the office and got some disinfected spray and wiped the bathroom down. It was just for a one night stay on the way to Panama city beach. We was tired and needed to rest. I paid for it ahead of time on line. The next morning, my granddaughter(7yrs old) was getting out the shower and looked at the top of the door and and said grandma, I dont want to stay here no more, I asked her why and she pointed at mildew on the ceiling and on top of the bathroom door. It was a very uncomfortable stay. It diffantly wasn't eco friendly breathing in mildew, rust and old urine that my son cleaned up. Other than that the room had clean sheets and towels. The carpet looked clean. The tube, shower curtains, refrigerator, and sink was clean.

Just aight, kinda sketchy probably wouldnt stay again but the room was clean and comfortable

Saw roaches in thw room. One big and one small.

Had a wonderful visit

Overpriced. Dirty and the owner is the rudest person. Tried to kick out a paying guest

Nice little place to stay right off the interstate. Gas and restaurant near by and the staff was friendly!

It was nice and friendly. Would have like more fruit and bagels at breakfast bar.

Well I had to fixes the 🔒 on door . Had to take a chair put against the door to keep someone from being able to get in room . Good thing I had a can of air freshener room smelled musty
