Motel 6-Madison, WI - East

I liked how cheap it was, travelled here from Chicago to relocated and start my new job. The room wasn't half bad either, but I did see roaches. The staff took my trash out a few times too so that was good.

The front desk clerk for night time tried to take $500 from me overcharging me and not disclosing the price on the prompter. When I told him I pre booked for a certain amount he corrected the price and showed it to me then I paid. Every night I was there homeless people doing drugs outside, the doors were not secure and opened easily and never locked. People smoking inside. People knocking on my door randomly throughout the night. People getting arrested. Roaches in the motel, and just generally a very terrible enviornment.

Our bathroom has no water, we can’t even bath or shower. Told the front desk not even offering another room for us. We have to check out an early with no refund offer.

Everything it had dog hair Everywhere beds was still dirty 😒 sheets was horrible, payed all this money just for nothing I really want a full refund especially with been in the position im in I cant afford to keep spending the lil money I have on these types of rooms than the staffs are rude everyone that comes through the is not a drug addict or looking for trouble. Its sad asf overly saddened by the way I was treated 😪

Cost was inexpensive.

Noisey people in hallways, no towels in room. TV did not get local channels.

When we arrived there was a bunch of girls in the reception area hanging around, we continued to check in went inside the rooms and there was cockaroaches crawling inside the bathroom, holes in the doors, the shower curtain rod was bent outside , we decided to pack our things and make the 2 hour ride back home

bugs in my room, dead roaches on the floor, roach traps in the corners of the room, plaster falling from the ceiling, dry wall crumbling around the window and the bath tub, bath tub was dirty (even though house keeping cleaned it), the shower head had calcium deposits on it, I didn't trust the water from the sink. the place should be condemned and torn down.
