Rodeway Inn Escondido Downtown

So called manager was rude and disrespectful. He didn’t know how to process payment so he told us to leave even tho we already paid for the room. He disconnected our room keys even tho he finally figured out how to process the payment

Manager was rude. Told me to leave because booking.com didn’t pay him even though I prepaid the room

I did not like the room

This Rodeway Inn did not meet my expectations. The room was not like the pictures. It was well worn. The front desk and cleaning staffs were great, but the room (#236), was in poor material condition. Specifically, there were no clothing hangars, no window curtains (Only wooden shutters), a large gap under the entrance door, missing lighting fixtures and the shower curtain was way too short allowing water to flow onto the floor. Also, it appears many guests are actually long-term residents based on most cars not moving in the parking lot. I stayed for the location, but the overall hotel experience was not worth the location. If I was traveling with family, I would have checked out and gone somewhere else. Fortunately I was out all day and only showered and slept in the room.

After a long trip, it was very disappointing to get into a room with a dirty toilet. Literally, I was able to see the butt crack painted in the rim of the toilet and poop splash inside. I was lucky to find the cleaning lady right outside to help us clean, who mentioned that employees have to go into the room's toilets because they do not have a special one for them. This is definitely not good.

Are ok no issues!

I like it just next door are smoking 420 and smelling around… But everything else is ok
