Room was kind of small but otherwise check in was quick and the hotel is nice

Nice hotel

Great hotel with friendly staff and clean comfortable rooms. I enjoyed the executive floor a lot, though the room service I ordered did not arrive and we were told to use the buffet. The hot tub looked very nice but was unfortunately not working for the entire duration of our stay. Other than those things I would eeccomend it to someone!

The breakfast was excellent and the staff were great!

There were several issues with cleanliness in common areas. The place was crawling with security which made you feel like there were issues with clientele . The fire alarm was activated twice although there was no fire which resulted in my grand daughter being afraid to go to sleep

If there was an extra star I would add it. This was the best hotel that I have been to in many years now. And I have been to many many hotels around the world. What was unique? THE STAFF. Yes, I had a great room on the Executive Floor, with, of course, access to the Lounge ... all lovely - but it was the staff that made this experience so great. I was there attending a conference July 25-27 (which means I am 2 weeks late in reviewing the hotel - but I still smile when I thin about my stay). I arrived early, the room was not ready yet, and the hotel was fully booked - so I waited in the restaurant (which was outside opening hours) were LIBERTY was super kind to offer me a cup of coffee, a muffin and a mini croissant because she thought I looked tired from my trip. It was a little gesture that meant a lot - I was really tired. A few minutes later I met SALINAS at the reception - what a wonderful smilling helpful person she was. She welcomed me, made sure to check on me, and follow up with my room. Over the following 2 days, that attitude was continued, everytime I passed by, the wide smile, the kindness ... Later that day I met CERWIN, at the reception - same attitude, same graciousness and kindness ... I lost my phone on the second day, EVERYONE from manager, receptioninst, restaurant staff, to cleaning staff made sure to look, ask me if I found it, and show genuine support. On the day that I was leaving, I didn't want to leave :) ... I have been to a lot of hotels were one staff member stood out and made the stay much better - but, I have not been to a hotel were every staff member was a delight. It is a hotel by the airport, but if I do end up in Winnipeg again, I will choose it again. Nawar.

There were bandaids in the pool and our door looks needed to be fixed. On a positive note the food in the restaurant was very good.
