Bed very comfortable and good shower
Old hotel. No on-site parking. No cups in the room nor ice bucket. They had plastic bags for the ice. Old camera system with few cameras. Anyone could just walk to your room. No one asking guests anything. Price was just $20.00 lower than The Marriott which is located on the other side of the street but the Marriott had excellent service and security
It was a decent place to sleep after a night of heavy drinking
Ive stayed at the Washington Inn since 2010, and have always had an amazing comfortable experience. This hotel is quaint, has history, and is situated in a hood location.
No hotel amenities. Website false advertisement.Website stated..breakfast included.. the restaurant and bar are not opened.. water and ice that’s it!! no food.. no ice buckets or coffee.. nothing here.. cleaning staff does not work on weekends.. The inn just opened up again.. very disappointing.. I would have gone someplace else if this was advertised on website. Travelocity dropped the ball on this one.
Friendly reception at the front desk, room was clean but very tired, however the price was right, and the location was just a few blocks from the train that I needed to catch early the next morning.
The property is historic, the entrance is beautiful. The rooms were not to what I expected. The sheets were stained. I wouldn’t stay here again.
To be clear: this is not the employee’s fault... I do think this might be a nice place but possibly this is just a Covid review... When arriving, it didn’t look like a hotel entrance. It looked all boarded up. Front desk clerk said the internet was down. They couldn’t make a key for me. Let me in. Still couldn’t make a key for me. Changed my room. Internet finally worked. The new room had a bathroom that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned. Expedia says that they provide a continental breakfast. When I went downstairs in the morning. No breakfast. They need to change that on the website. No parking available. Was told that the convention center parking is $49 a night. So I had to drive around to find a place to park. Overall, it was a bit disappointing. But I don’t blame the workers. They both seemed sympathetic. The hotel needs to be clearer
Wow what a disgusting hotel. We walked in turned around walked out and rented a night at a Marriott across the street it was so gross. The young man that worked there was nice as could be. Not his fault for the conditions. Do yourself a favor spend an extra 30 bucks a night and skip the cockroaches
Keys didnt work 3 times in a row. The staff had to change my room completey. Carpet is dirty, building is old. Water comes out like a water hose in the shower. Heat comes from the cieling fan so it takes the room awhile to get warm. Bed was comfortable but thats about the only thing going for them. Stay if theres no other options.
