Exceeded our expectations. Everything was first class.

Beautiful location on the lake, comfortable beds, daily happy hour, fire pit with s’mores, pontoon boat ride, games and puzzles, beautiful house ,helpful staff.

We loved everything, but there could have been more lights in the room.

The Lake Pointe Inn is a worthy splurge. The B&B in a historic home features plush but comfortable rooms, gourmet breakfasts (served on the lovely patio in warmer weather), happy hour wine and snacks, complimentary boat rides, and canoes and kayaks to take out. The location in a small community on the northern tip of Deep Creek Lake is quiet but close to several restaurants. Scott and the rest of the staff were gracious but not in your face. If you want to treat yourself, this is the place.

I wanted to find a place where I could enjoy some of the lake life experiences I remember from my early days in the Midwest. I never quite took to those ocean party days - not relaxing enough, not enough pine trees, and too much salt (in the water! Lake Michigan spoiled me). Maryland has no natural lakes, and one man made lake - Deep Creek. Lucky for me, it was exactly what I was looking for, and still lucky for me, the Lake Pointe Inn was exactly the right place to go in search of everything I loved. Nestled in nature, right on the lakefront, in a traditional lodge building with a delightful motley selection of very amenable rooms. Something for everyone! I just finished my third visit there. Yes I have a favorite room now but I'm not telling. If you love Kauai tell your friends about Maui. :-) The "traditions" are comforting. A lovely boat ride on weather-friendly mornings, after your unbelievably creative and delicious breakfast. Wine and other bevvies at 4 with inn-made snacks (they leave the leftovers out so there is usually a 2am brownie or something if you feel the need). There are no other meals served but really, after that breakfast you only need one, and there are dozens of varied local choices. Friendly, devoted staff and common sense answers to questions and requests. There's not a whole binder of rules and expectations for the guests (but no cell phones in public areas, which I applaud). Everyone genuinely wants to enjoy your stay. Plenty of things to do both their and nearby, but "nothing" is always one of the options. Okay, as you probably can tell, I am not a professional or even busy amateur reviewer. So ya gotta appreciate the time I took to write all this. Can you tell? - I love the Lake Pointe Inn and highly recommend it!

This bed and breakfast was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how spotlessly clean the rooms were. The freshly made breakfast was a true highlight, featuring delicious treats and ingredients so fresh you could taste the quality. They also went the extra mile by providing complimentary waters and sodas for guests, a small touch that made a big difference. To top it all off, we were treated to a complimentary, two-hour boat ride on the lake, which was the perfect way to spend an afternoon.

The staff was amazing and the location is so beautiful. We felt at home. Lots of snacks and a great happy hour! The best experience we've had. We highly recommend this gorgeous place!
