We were under the impression that the breakfast was complimentary. Not so. We were told it was $43 for 2 people. We wound up at a McDonald's for breakfast. Also, parking situation was not good. No validation for parking under the hotel. Parking wound up costing $24.

It’s a perfect place to not be in the hustle and bustle but close enough to travel around to enjoyable experiences in Minnesota. Comfortable bed and pleasant staff. Did I mention the warm cookies upon arriving help! Not far from the Mall of America!

They tease me with the most warm comforter on my first visit, it was one of my favorite things, but my second visit the comforter was flat and not warm. The restaurant close too early, especially if you are driving in late. They need a mini market that stays open, even if it’s just vending machines. So pack or pickup dinner on your way in.

I enjoyed my one night stay. I went to a concert at the Xcel Energy Ctr. The hotel was close enough that I could walk to the concert. Other hotels closer were ridicously expensive. I loved the cookies at checkin. I would suggest a hotel shuttle for concerts. I'm 83 and I walked the 6 blocks. However, homeless guys along the way were a bit scary for me. I followed others walking that way and made it ok. I liked that I was able to park my own car.

Hotel staff was nice, the main areas of the hotel seemed nice as well. The check in situation isn’t ideal with the small area for cars to park in. I’d recommend parking in the ramp next door before checking in. Room was okay ish, the bathroom was dirty, hair in the shower that wasn’t ours. We found chips under the bed. We weren’t there for very long so it was fine but I wouldn’t stay there again.
