DoubleTree by Hilton Tampa Rocky Point Waterfront

We recently stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Tampa Rocky Point Waterfront, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience! The hotel boasts stunning waterfront views and is conveniently located, making it perfect for both relaxation and exploration. What truly set our stay apart was the outstanding service provided by Rubin Patel. From the moment we arrived, Rubin went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. His warm welcome and attentiveness made us feel right at home. He proactively addressed our needs and provided excellent recommendations for local attractions and dining. Rubin Patel's genuine hospitality and commitment to guest satisfaction truly elevated our experience. Thank you, Rubin, for making our stay memorable! I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Tampa, and I will certainly be returning in the future!

Stayed for 4 nights during this Christmas the price was far more than what bookings claimed it to be. I had booked there 4 years ago and had a nice experience this time not so much. The bathroom Sink and tub didn’t drain right. Shower pressure was a joke and was lukewarm at best, Staff was mediocre no conversation about policys or anything just take my Card and give me keys. The hotel charged me a $300 smoking fee when I accidentally hit my vape once. They didn’t call or inspect the room to see the issue they just tossed a notice under my door telling me the problem and price that would be charged to my room. Booking on this app does not explain this policy and they will not negotiate at the hotel. I am a Hilton honors member that will spend my money elsewhere going forward. They have went downhill over the years and my opinion is to stay elsewhere. Bogus charges on extra taxes and fees plus parking the only good thing they have is location with nice views if you book the right room.

The pool and hotel service was the best features. I recommend getting the tuna poke appetizer, incredible! At the service desk Roy was extremely helpful, he helped make our stay worth it. Thank you Roy!

Paying to park. It was of no fault to any staff, On 12/23/2025 @ about 4:00. We had a false evaluation alarm .

The hotel itself was dirty as it was under construction. I wished I would have known ahead of my visit. The view was beautiful and the walking path across the street along the water was a daily pleasure. I only know about it from the the front desk employee named Roy. He was always there to greet you with a bottle of cold water and a smile. He was an absolute 5 on the scale, while the hotel was a 3 at best. The restaurant was very convenient and I enjoyed both dinners while I would skip the breakfast buffet next time. It's a better value to order a breakfast meal off the menu. The shuttle and drivers James and Claude were so kind and informative. The best perk ever is the hydro massage beds. Don't pay that $25 daily fee to park. Just park at the office building next door, the parking is plentiful.

I came back after a long day and my room was not done. There are no housekeepers during the afternoon, Very annoying. Pillows need to be dried clean and the towels smelled bad. They need new towels. Kevin at the front desk did everything he could to help and i am gratefull
