The location is excellent, but that is where the positives end. The overall experience was clearly below the standards expected for a hotel positioned and priced at this level. The property is in urgent need of maintenance, both inside the rooms and throughout the common areas. The beach area was unacceptable — there were dead birds, debris and plastic glasses scattered along the beachfront from the moment we arrived until we left, without being removed or cleaned. A mess! This alone reflects a serious lack of basic operational standards. Public areas were not properly maintained, and the lobby was dirty and had an unpleasant smell. The area directly in front of our terrace was used as a storage space for beach chairs and umbrellas, significantly affecting the view, privacy, and overall experience. Service was also inconsistent. While some staff were friendly, the front desk was not helpful when issues were raised, and there was little sense of accountability or effort to resolve problems. In addition, even after involving Booking.com, it was not possible to obtain a proper invoice covering the full amount paid for the stay, which is a basic and expected requirement. Overall, this property does not meet the standards it claims or the price it charges. The value for money is poor, and the experience left a clear sense of having paid for something that was not delivered.
We spent the day here with friends. The pool bar made great drinks and apps. The pool and hot tubs were perfect for some relaxation before dinner at the cobolt. The hotel is right on the ocean.
