"World Class Hospitality in Downtown Portland"

There was a very kind valet that pushed my mom's wheelchair through the ramp entrance where we were struck by the elegance if the interior decor. The front receptionist was very friendly and the check in was super smooth. The view from the very comfortable 6th floor urban view room was great and the temperature and ambience was perfect for rest. Any need you have is promptly addressed by staff here such as incidentals delivery to free water refills at the gym and complimentary bottles as well as directions to neighboring businesses. The fireplace in the lobby and the valet when we were leaving were great as well. I am awestruck by the quality of our stay and we want to come back again if we have the chance. I've been to 19 countries but this was the best hotel stay I've experienced and my mother really enjoyed and was grateful I arranged it as well

"Great stay"

One of the best hotels I have been to. Staff were wonderful. Room was great. Beautiful lobby with vintage atmosphere! If you come to Portland you definitely should stay here or at least visit for the ambiance. Also Bobby our server was wonderful.

"Family weekend celebrating"

We stayed at the Benson for two nights while in Portland for a party. We received great care by the staff, starting with the valet, the front desk staff, the porter, the waiters in the restaurant, and housekeeping. They made sure to take care of all of our needs. We'll be back.

"Deserves a Travelers Choice"

Good location. Professional staff. Comfortable room and bed. Clean. Definitely worth walking down the 12 stairwell to see their pictures as soon many US presidents have stayed here.
