Comfort Inn & Suites Hamilton Place

The location.

The motel flooded a week before my arrival. The lobby drywall was being replace, the pool was green, my room smell moldy. I should had the option of a refund and allow to rebooked. I’m asthmatic and mold not good for my lungs.Floods happen

The breakfast was actually pretty good! The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean.

Nothing really, I thought I had booked a different hotel, didn’t realize I had booked a 2 star hotel, so for what it was everything was excellent!

At first it looked very fun and inviting. Then we get inside and the lady who managed the front desk last night was extremely rude to us. Even tho we had made reservations and paid for the room she told us over and over again that she had no rooms.

We arrived, checked in, and the air in our room didn’t work. They had wired a regular thermostat onto the ac unit. There was also a weird noise in the room, possibly because it was right by housekeeping. We called down and told them we needed another room because it was 80 degrees in our room. They obliged quickly. Mostly the issue was that and the fact that the place just needed a lot of maintenance. The shower head shot water out of the side. There was mold above the bathroom door and chunks of wall missing. Breakfast was good, I will say that. Plenty of choices.

Run away, mold in bathrooms, OLD, stacks of ac units everywhere, no ice machines, have to re program your room key daily, the “breakfast” never changes, bugs everywhere, management doesn’t do anything, and over charges your card, unsafe, rude, just RUN AWAY doors don’t seal locks don’t work, doors don’t shut, walls haven’t been cleaned in lord knows how long, pictures missing but can see the dirt lines?!?! Just RUN

Leslie who ran the breakfast area was ahmazzzzing! She worked hard to make everyone happy and she clearly loves her job. Pls find a way to recognize her for an outstanding employee. Constantly smiling and so pleasant as she worked so hard,truly dedicated.

To start the clerk had a Soviet socialist pin on. As veteran not happy about doing business that supports socialism. Second the property had musky smell. Not dirty but like it stays wet. Second it doesn’t look like it has been updated since the it was built. The carpet in the room was worn and had a horrible patch job. I don’t believe it is worth the $100+ a night rate.
