Staff were nice. People staying they were talkative. Friendly environment

Room seemed clean but smelled bad.

Several things seemed off upon checking in. The cash deposit was something I've never experienced before and felt very sketchy. The bathroom door wouldn't close all the way. The final nail in the coffin was a bullet hole in a window two rooms down. My family and I were there for about 30 minutes before immediately checking out. This place does not feel safe, and I would not recommend staying here.

Let us check in early, which was nice. Signed paperwork and paid $150 cash deposit which was kind of odd but after that we got a yellow slip that they said we needed to return in order to get deposit back at check out. Gave us the room keys and when we went to the room somebody was already in it. Proceeded to go back to front desk and get another room. Got to the second room and someone was already in that one as well. Finally got a room that wasn't already occupied. Upon leaving at about 5:30 next morning, we walk to front desk to check out and hand them the yellow slip to get our deposit back. they check the room and everything is good. After searching for our deposit for 10 minutes the guy says he can't find it in the drawer. He told us there was a number we could call to talk to somebody but a manager wouldn't be in til 7. We said we weren't calling anyone and we wanted our money back immediately. Finally after someone from the hotel next door comes over and some back and forth, we get our money back. Delayed our travel time over an hour for an 8 hr drive bank home we had. I highly DO NOT recommend this place! Worst experience I've ever had staying at a hotel. Shady shady place

This is the worst hotel to stay in. We had to leave because there were roaches everywhere. The room was a non-smoking room but as soon as you walked in all you smelled was smoke. The pictures online were nothing like what the hotel really looked like.

Bathroom floor and toilet are full of cockroaches while going to bathroom in middle of night. Also, there are previous guest’s dirty underwear and skirt.are

False advertising. Rooms were not at all like the pictures. Rooms smelled like smoke and weed to the point of causing sickness. We booked non smoking and changed rooms 3 times and none were non smoking rooms. Fire hazard. Smoke detectors going off in rooms. Batteries need replaced. Toilet seat was barely attached to toilet. No security lock to prevent accidental entry in occupied room. Only positive was decent breakfast, hot water and staff was nice. We had to stay despite the horrible conditions because our 4 nights reserved were non refundable.

Killed two roaches in 5 minutes, people yelling in the middle of the night, smelled like smoke, bed not comfortable.

The staff was incredible. Checked me in early after a long night flying. However, there is an active prostitution ring in the back of the property. I know this because I was solicited in my room twice.

Came into town to meet our realtor and to attend an LSU game. We had TV problems with the first two rooms that we were assigned to. The guest agents were very helpful. The area isn’t the best, but it feels safe. Easy access to I-12 and there are restaurants and grocery stores near by. The room was clean and comfortable. Parking is free and well lighted.
