Quality Inn Baton Rouge East I-12

The shower needs replaced it was awful. There was a hole in the wall in the bathroom. My husband said he saw roaches the night before we left. The room itself was clean.

Lamps didn’t work. Took a long time before maintenance showed up. Bugs (mostly roaches) on floor, sink, mirrors and walls. Wife wanted to leave immediately but I was too tired to drive further. At checkin, another customer was waiting for police because someone stole catalytic converter from his car the night before.

This hotel is horrible but you get what you pay for. We had to change our room 3 times. The first two times we were given keys to rooms that were already occupied. This is very dangerous. The last room we were given was not completely clean but with no where else to go we had to make due with the situation. We went down to the local Family Dollar and got cleaning supplies to clean the room just so we could sleep in a somewhat clean situation. Try to avoid this hotel. Pay a little more for a better environment and cleanliness.

Although I have stayed in worse places, this hotel room was dirty. The Miss at the reception desk was very nice. Roaches in room. Room 745 btw. Loud music playing at all hours of the night. And I was awoken to the sound of breaking glass at 5 in the morning. I looked outside to see if my car was being broken into. Thankfully it wasn't.

That place had roaches when I booked it it wasn’t the picture they had on the website ppls hanging out like crack heads I change room 3 times all had roaches but I wouldn’t let my dog stay in this place

My experience at this hotel was disastrous, we arrived my brother and I early in the morning asking if we could take our rooms immediately, the very nonchalant lady told us that we had to pay $25 per room in cash for a check in early we decline and tell her that we are going to come back late at night after the college football game, she wishes us good game, when we return to the hotel in the evening, our horror story has started, the lady at the counter is completely mad at us when I tell her that we had a reservation, she tells us that the rooms have already been rented to other people despite the fact that everything was already paid for and that now I had to ask at hotel.com for a refund and she didn't help us for anything. it was the worst bad customer service experience and i do not recommend this hotel.

This Hotel was horrible it should be taken off of the Hotels.com site. We checked in and when going up to the first room there were people sitting outside of the room next to the first one smoking marijuana. The first room smelled horrible. I asked for a different room. The next room was filthy. But we were tired and we’re just gonna rest a little before driving more. We ended up leaving within 1 hour and just got back on the road because people were walking around my truck looking inside and people were fighting a few rooms down out on the balcony. Place is very dirty and unsafe.

I wanted to stay the night while travelling with my family, but Quality Inn Baton Rouge East I-12 is home to dealers and prostitutes, with pimps lurking in staircases & controlling the action. Seems to be organised crime. I was offered drugs & hookers, in company of my family, while walking to the (extremely poorly maintained) pool. In a room with an open door, right by the pool, there were loud wimpering noises which - I assume - were from heavy drug consumption taking place. Looked into the room next to the one my kids were in and saw a naked woman on the bed (curtains wide open), which I assume was a prostitute waiting for a client to be brought in. Saw a drug deal taking place in the parking lot. My family was unsafe, so we left hastily after staying for two hours or so, in order to go to a different motel a few miles away. We didn't ask for a refund for the 2 rooms, we didn't want to stay any longer than needed for fear of safety. We didn't complain on the premises either, for that reason. I assume management knows about this very well. It would be impossible not to notice that there are dealers/pimps constantly hovering. Front desk staff was friendly although very low energy, didn't seem phased at all when I (before realizing the scope of the problem) told her that a room reeked of weed, incredibly strongly. Also no reaction when I casually told her that I believe that room can't be rented out again to someone else before the weed smell is taken care of. An hour later, that very room was indeed rented out again, had the above mentioned presumed prostitute in it, right next to my kids. In hindsight it's clear that my complaint about the smell of weed must have seemed comical in light of the motel's main use. I'm also sending this write-up to Quality Inn Corporate. I'm not writing this to get a refund or anything, I don't care, we made it off the premises without harm , that's what counts. I'm writing this to corporate so that they KNOW about it and can't claim no knowledge if/when things go bad and a future visitor or family gets hurt there. Quality Inn, Please do something about it. Shut the place down, or bring in security, or do something. As it is, this is no place for any regular traveller, let alone for families. The chain name of Quality Inn implies a basic level of safety that is not there. It's downright irresponsible to offer this place to families under the Quality Inn brand name. I booked this location by mistake (there's another, better review Quality Inn closeby), your brand name extending to this place actively endangers travellers. Please take this seriously. The staff on site are surely aware and probably can't do anything against this. This problem must be taken care of by owners and/or brand or chain managers. This motel is not safe. DO NOT STAY HERE.
