Howard Johnson by Wyndham Beaufort/Parris Island

Beds were comfortable and room was very clean with a great view on the back side of the building. Pet friendly is always a plus.

Said there is a pool but it was closed till further notice. Should not advertise there is a pool if it's not going to be open.

The swimming pool was the nicest thing.. the beds were clean and comfortable.

Bugs under the desk and in the sitting chair. Someone was fighting outside our room around 4 AM. The security door coming in did not lock. A man was staying in his car outside the rooms coming in and out. Assuming he was one of the ones fighting with another visitor to the room that a woman was in.. going off my gut feeling only assuming what was going on. Not accusing anyone of anything. But will not be staying there again.

Great view… location was good.

No in person staff at reception station. Breakfast was not up to par, compared to similar setups. I realize it is not a restaurant.

The sheets had some stains, the floors were dirty with crumbs, I was allowed to reserve a room online as a 19 year old but when I arrived there was issues checking in bc I wasn’t 21, the breakfast was not good the sausage was greasy and eggs were hard, and there is nobody at the front desk it’s just a person on a zoom call which they might just be AI i can’t even tell lol.

I was on the bottom floor.

I did like the weed smell. I didn't like the trash in the parking lot when we arrived. The water in the shower didn't get hot. There wasn't any one behind the front desk.

There was zero staff on site. Very unfriendly. Had to deal with a kiosk. There was never any hot water. Water for shower was ice cold. Very dirty sheets and found roaches in room
