Breakfast was not good.

Tub had issues draining Man living in car in parking lot: broken crack pipe on lawn (?) No physical staff to interact with Gross food (breakfast): low quality and no coffee available during non breakfast hours Rooms were not cleaned during stay Lack of security in building Odd smell in room

I checked in around 7:30 pm on Thursday the 26th of March 2026 and checked back out same day 10-15 mins later after checking out the room and facilities.

My room was dirty. Bed sheets wasn't fully cleaned it looked like. A hidden door that opened to another door and easily could break into our room. With a family I didn't like that. Pool was advertised as it was open and it was closed. Paid extra for a balcony view and it was just a window looking out into a swamp. Chairs in room were stained badly. Bugs flying everywhere. And the security doors to get into the hallways was unlocked and didn't need a key to access to get into the facility. Because it was dirty and unsafe vibe for our family. We decided to not stay. And demanded a refund for a dirty, unsafe and falsely advertisement of the room we purchased. They charged me $211 that I know of and hasn't refunded it. They said I need to contact booking.com bc I made the reservation with you guys but paid at the front desk.

The staff was friendly. They were good about my service animal.

The room was rundown and the hotel was in a little bit of a sketchy area. There were times that I felt somewhat unsafe. I wouldn't stay there again. Even with my dog (service animal).

I reserved a king size bed several weeks prior to going to Beaufort. They gave me a double bed room. When I asked about it and told them that I reserved and it was confirmed, they basically said too bad, they didn’t have one available. We stayed 2 nights, and the internet was down the whole time. Staff wasn’t pleasant, not even the guy on the screen at the kiosk. Will not recommend this place.

The room itself was clean and comfortable but one of the biggest disappointments from previous stays at this location was continental breakfast. Previous stays the breakfast was fantastic. This stay the pancake maker was broken, the eggs/milk were bland/dry - made from powder mix. Powdered milk resulted in poor taste to the cereal. The sausages were undercooked and the coffee dispenser was empty 4 of the 5 mornings. Previous stays a selection of fruit was offered, bananas/apples, but none this visit.

Other than the poor breakfast the grounds were littered by the side entrance and short walkway to the parking lot with used condoms/wrappers plus broken crack pipes in the parking lot itself. Had a car parked on one side of the lot where a woman would come from the second floor, enter the car, speak to the driver, then exit to return to the second floor. This occurred regularly during my stay.
