Beautiful place to stay with the most welcoming staff. We arrived late at night and this was no problem for the check-in. The rooms are spacious, have good AC, and the beds are very comfortable. Breakfast on the rooftop is great and comes with absolutely amazing coffee (flat white, cappuccino, espresso, whatever you want)! Location is also good, everything you want to see/do in Stone Town is within walking distance.

Noise from the street was pretty loud, though at night this wasn’t much of a problem as the streets are pretty quiet at night.

Beautiful rooms. Friendly staff. Very good location in the middle of Stone Town. Very easy to reach markets, restaurants and the port. Breakfast on the roof is a plus.

Breakfast on rooftop terrace was very good. All staff were friendly, attentive and welcoming. Terrace was comfortable with a good view. Liked traditional decor and historical coffee artifacts.

Did not like open shower, floor got all wet. Very noisy, next to construction site where work started early in morning. Entrance to coffee house in busy narrow lane way.
