The Dairy at High House

Excellent place. Loved the stocked fridge for self catering breakfast.

Toiletries and food to make first breakfast and tea/coffee left for the guests. Plenty of parking space. Very friendly owner who is available a lot if there's any issues (they live in the adjoining property).

The 2 pubs and the shop in the village have now closed, not the fault of the property owner, but something to consider when booking. It didn't bother us as we were visiting family in the village.

There were breakfast items in the fridge which was lovely. Games under the TV and a TV in every room.

The double beds were a little hard and lumpy.

A stone building sensitively upgraded to provide excellent accommodation. good quality furniture with comfortable seating and beds. The warm welcome from our host and delightful provisions for our first breakfast.

It was a lovely touch to leave out the first morning’s breakfast and stock the cupboards with essentials

There was no village shop open locally

Fantastic facilities really clean and all food we needed for are stay. Very friendly service and the owner was so lovely she went above and beyond to make are stay memorable. wait to book again. Was near many attractions had the best time thank you 😊 very happy with our stay

There wasn't anything we didn't like. But would suggest to have a sign by gate as couldn't find on first day but she did come and meet us out side when I phoned.

Everything was excellent even a cupboard of goodies for breakfast, fresh eggs from the chickens , also sausages, mushrooms, milk, bread, juice and much more, for your first morning breakfast/stay, if in this area again will definitely stay here again. Thanks Lisa excellent accommodation and thanks for being so very helpful.

The Dairy is beautiful, spacious and comfortable.

There are no amenities within walking distance, and the only pub in town was not serving food.
