Hyatt Palm Springs

We stayed in the Executive Suite. It's quite pricey for the condition of the room. It had a light switch (flat faced toggle style) so broken you could actually reach inside of it. There were torn sections of carpeting. There were stains on wallpaper and furniture. There were cabinet doors made of cheap painted plywood that were falling off of their hinges. The worst of all was the standing water on the balcony because of a drain that doesn't work. It's a desert and was 100 degree highs 5 of the 6 days we were there. I'm not sure how, but the water stayed on the balcony the entire time. The one GOOD thing I can say is that the hotel seems to be one of the few that still offers to clean the room daily without you having to request it and it's pretty cool that they offer bicycles for loan at no charge to guests.

The room was big! It definitely was dated and had things such as wall plugs, and the phone to the front desk that did not work. The pool and hot tub were nice but not worth the of a resort fee. Parking was pricey, but there was a few other options.

We appreciated the hotel's cleanliness and the spaciousness of our room. Relaxing on the balcony was a delightful experience, especially with the hotel’s perfect location near downtown.

The view of the surrounding is the best you can get at any place. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. Really loved the overall vibe.

We had an excellent stay at Hyatt Palm Springs due to attentive, caring and knowledgeable team members. Sherwin was great at check-in. We unfortunately needed to leave early due to a health condition and Anaily was so helpful, we felt very well taken care of. The rooms are a little bit aged, but large and very comfortable. The Hyatt bed is always a winner! We also enjoyed the premium channels after a long day exploring. We would definitely stay again!

On this trip I stayed in three separate rooms due to how I booked and my plans had been changed. Room 1 : view of the mountain and pool Room 2: Cabana (has porch on pool level with direct access and Room 3: HIgh floor view of the sunrise. All are nicely sized - Cabana did not have work desk. They also only come with Kings but were happy to provide a roll away bed for us. The location is perfect - downtown with walkable distance to everything! Go on a Thursday night and there is Village Fest. About 4 blocks are closed and it is food, fun, music and the museum is free. The restaurants in this area have incredibly good food and many choices. It is family friendly yet one was able to be near pool away from kid noise if one chose to. Jacuzzi opens early and pool is nice sized. My only complaint was that people chose to play their own music and no one from hotel addressed that. Hotel has good background music so I found that selfish and clashing. Food: meh. Flavors were lacking, toast was never toasted. Service/Food and Drink: Nice people but I saw either understaffed or not very attentive so not the best service. Rooms are older but well stocked with comfortable beds and lots of space.

After I booked the room I decided to read the reviews and I was a little scared but when we showed up I was surprised with how the staff was so welcoming and how clean our room was as

The only complaint I have is on Saturday night we went to the bar at 9:30pm to get a drink and the bartender told us they were closed but the night before we were told that they close at 10pm

As always a great place to stay. Close to everything and easy access to it all. Thursday nights are spectacular worth the street fair and Hoodoo Lounge entertainment.
