No hot water. Filthy. Not manned. Abandoned pub.

Very nice indead

Lovely old pub with a lot of character. Really friendly owners and a tasty breakfast for me and my veggie partner. Room was a little chilly when we arrived (but we didn't arrive until late so the heater was turned on until then) and some fittings are a little worn. That said, let's be honest, if you book to stay here, you are booking into a beautiful old pub so you should expect some character rather than a bland, generic hotel room. Definitely plan to stay here again.

The room was adequate the mattress was quite hard so didn’t get a good nights sleep, the bathroom was tired and in need of updating as shower tray cracked and mouldy around the bottom, had to call to wake the chef up to get breakfast it should have been served between 8-9.30 but nobody was around so eventually we called them at 8.45 and they opened up at 9.00, the room didn’t get refreshed so had to ask to get extra milk and coffee, other than that it’s still a nice little place to stay, the food was ok, they need to update web site as the menu is completely different and the prices stated for food are completely incorrect.

Not Impressed. Please note this a pub with rooms and not a hotel. Upon arriving the pub was closed, so had to call a number for keys to be given, whilst waiting for the owner to turn up I noticed hygiene rating was 2/5. You are asked to use a Communal back door to get to the rooms which at night is in complete darkness. Room was dated. No WiFi. Shower was a typical triton dribbler. Shower had mould in the grouting of the tiles - just spray bleach! During the day the chef in the pub plays loud music which echos into the room. Considering we’re in a pandemic,Very disappointed that there was no hand sanitizer at the communal door that all lodgers were using. In addition things like decorative non- washable pillows were not removed from the room in line with government guidance. Breakfast was ok.

Dissapointed had long wait to get in mentioned l would arrive beyween 4&6ish arrived at 5 no one there. Had to ring mobile number and then had to wait over half hour..then man opened door holding a baby. Shown up to room no tv on it until later not good start at all. Then came the private bathroom not so private had to come out of bedroom and go three doors down landing to get too. Not good in middle of the night or for your morning shower. Did not stay as l would have not rested properly as thinking about the bathroom situation. Drove back to wales home instead. Lost one nights stay money .not good.

The home cooked food was excellent and the staff were very friendly.

The room is big and cozy We had dinner at their pub downstairs which is very delicious and good services,and we recommend you stay there when you traveling around Pembrokeshire

Experience was a little mixed, reminders had to be given for the hospitality tray in the room to be replenished. But room was comfoortable, clean with comfortable bed. Had dinner on the first night and portions were certainley on the hearty side, with good ingredients and well cooked not fine dining but just what was needed after a long drive to south wales. Breakfasts again would be a little mixed, no fruit or weetabix / bran flakes or mueseli / granola on offer. But the cooked breakfast was exceptional full of flavour and well cooked. Great bacon, sausages etc.
