Gasthof Alpenblick

This is basiclally a nice little hotel in a very rural location well situated for the various ski resorts in the area. We have friends who have stayed here and recommended it to us. We were however given a bedroom above their smoker's lounge (room 4). This room is used by the locals as a pub and it is impossible to sleep through the noise. During our six night stay there were two occasions when we could not sleep until the small hours. We brought this up with the owners who simply denied that there was any sort of problem saying that we were the first people to complain - not a good response. You should not be made to feel bad if you have a legitimate concern. Also the smell of cigarette smoke wafts up the staircase and hangs in the landing. In summary we would not want to put anyone off staying here but we would strongly suggest you give room four a wide berth.
