Decor, clean, friendly good style pub

The room and bed were very comfortable with a great sink and mirror inside the room. The shared Gents bathroom was clean with 2 big showers and better than I was expecting. I didn't coincide with anyone anyway but if I had it would have been fine. For this location and price it's well worth that minor adjustment. (Btw, I forgot my new phone charger in the room and they found and kept it for me so that I could pick it up on my way back through! This was very honest and professional service.) As for the fabulous restaurant! - I was expecting normal pub food but seriously - the Lamb Shanks with mash and broccolini were the best I've ever had. The chef is incredible. I thanked him profusely for his amazing food and I hope to try more things from the menu next time. I've always loved Gundagai as a great Aussie town but this has just made me want to go back more frequently!

I honestly can't think of anything to complain about. I understand that the idea of a shared bathroom might put people off - but in reality it's fine and not a problem at all. Much better than staying in a motel in a lesser location but with more cost.

The room was big light clean as were the bathrooms

The meal was disappointing as it did not meet our expectations. We have eaten numerous times but will not eat here again.

Really clean room! Ac was great! Wash basin in room was welcomed! Shared spaces were clean and functional!
