Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead

This wasn't my first stay and won't be my last! I am always greeted with a smile and genuine desire to assist by the front desk staff and valet staff. The rooms have always been and so far I have been granted early check-in and late check-out. The Lounge is open 24/7 and the food selections and staff are exemplary!

Wonderful hotel! Beautiful place and wonderful customer service. I was really impressed by the level of customer service and how beautiful the hotel was.

Our room was huge and it was very clean and modern. The grand club offered a decent selection of finger foods and the breakfast was really good. Location was within walking distance to Lenox Mall, restaurants and coffee shop across the street. The waterfall was very serene and a great background for pictures. Overall it was a wonderful place and we would stay again!

Summary: A clean and functional Hyatt but sound insulation is sorely lacking by modern luxury hotel standards. Arrival: Arrived by Uber. No valet or doorman to greet us or offer to assist luggage. Check-in: efficient check-in, acknowledged my membership in Hyatt’s loyalty program Room (420): Decent room with a king bed. All the usual items (e.g., mini-coffee maker, mini-refrigerator, furniture, etc.) except (and this is a major exception), the room lacked a desk. NO desk at all, which is very inconvenient for business travel. Also, the TV in the room was an old LG model that was horribly slow. On the plus side, the mini-coffee maker used Keurig style pods and produced good coffee. Bathroom: Good lighting, full tub with shower, adequate counter space, nice new Conair hair dryer. The shampoo and conditioner were not very good. Bed: Decent bed, good linens Sleep quality: below average; lots of hallway noise and noise from adjoining rooms. The soundproofing in this Hyatt is decades old and not up to modern standards. Housekeeping: Good housekeeping Overall cleanliness: above average WiFi: Adequate but not great WiFi Conference facilities: Comfortable conference rooms but with slow WiFi in the conference area Catering: Had a catered lunch buffet for speakers at the conference. The catered lunch included salad, chicken, salmon, and an apple strudel dessert. It was one of the best catered lunches at a hotel conference facility that I’ve had! Very impressed with the catering. Gym and Misc: Good sized gym on site

We stayed here for one night while in town to see a concert. It was the perfect choice and I would definitely stay here again. Our room was on the 25th floor and was very quiet. It was an easy walk down one short set of stairs to the club lounge. We never waited on an elevator, the front desk staff was very kind and responsive. Check in was super easy through the Hyatt app and they emailed me 24 hours after check out to make sure everything had gone as planned. The only complaint was that the beds were tiny. They were super comfortable, just small. I will definitely be staying here again when in Atlanta.

We stayed here the night before our return flight from ATL using our Hyatt points. Our room was on the top 25th floor with club access just one floor below. This hotel is a category 3 hotel. A limited choice of evening canapes were offered, the breakfast on the other hand was better than expected; Hyatt also shows a photo of the breakfast buffet full spread. View from the club lounge was limited unlike club lounges in other hotels proud of illustrating the views. The room interior and furniture were simple and below our expectations ("Grand Hyatt" sic). Previously the hotel was a Nikko hotel, hence the Zen gardens on the third floor between the terraces. On the garden level, there is a dry sauna and hot water steam room near the fitness center.

Beautiful property

Location was great, a bit expensive for uber/lyft. Very clean rooms, with great amenities. Sound proofing could be better as I had a hard time sleeping 1/3 of my nights due to loud noises. Otherwise a beautiful hotel.

The Grace of Service Above and Beyond! John I arrived with no minutes to spare to check in and attend a council meeting at another location in Buckhead, approximately 1.8 miles from the Grand Hyatt. While I was in the midst of a minor meltdown, I looked up to see John. He was calm, listened to my situation, eased my anxiety, and proceeded to solve my problem with grace. He got me a Lift to my council meeting. Additionally, he made a new reservation for an extra night after the Cognia Impact Conference concluded on Friday, so I didn't have to drive in Atlanta on a Friday afternoon - I just had to check out and check in for the additional night. Mr. E OMG! No task is too big! No problem! How to load a 77-year-old woman’s luggage cart from car to room and from room to car with empathy and grace. - Mr. E! Nikole (spelling?) Sunshine and joy in a smile! She remembered my name from the first time I needed help at the front desk, even on the last day, as I was checking out on Saturday. Bottom Line As Mr. E and I waited for the elevator with my loaded luggage cart, we had shared a short human story as we walked the hall to the elevator, and my comment to him as we waited was, “Sometimes people come into our lives for a moment, but they enrich our souls forever.” John, Mr. E, and Nikole enriched my experience during my stay at the Grand Hyatt in Buckhead. They also made me a better person! Grateful!

We had a great weekend stay at the Grand Hyatt in Buckhead. This was not my first visit to the hotel, but it was my first since the renovations were completed and wow! We stayed in the Grand Peach Suite, which is a fantastic option for families or groups traveling together. A really nice, stylish room and an incredible amount of space to spread out in. The club is also excellent and I appreciated the small but well-selected breakfast spread in the mornings. Service at this hotel continues to be friendly and excellent - we will return!
