Staff was really nice young girly, there was an issue with our bed and so she moved us out of our room to accommodate us. -cleanliness was okay, however smell of food was pretty strong and unpleasant in the hallway. overall it was okay. $200 is a bit high for this location.

USUSUS- The mattress was firm (good for me, not for my husband) - It had a bathtub - The view was of a quiet forest - The room was spacious
- The bathroom smelled of cigarette smoke and it was obvious that staff knew about it because they had a glade plugin plugged into the bathroom outlet - It seemed that renovations were done cheaply (laminate floors not lining up, trim has large gaps) - The windows didn’t have screens - You could tell the hotel owners were not investing in room repairs or were cheap about repairs (there was damage to the bathtub, shower curtain hooks were missing and the remaining ones were spaced out evenly to make up for it, there was a drywall patch repair that was never painted, the tub was missing the original drain plug, so a kitchen sink drain cover was used as a replacement, there were marks in the walls from previous tenant damage, the blinds were damaged or missing slats) - The pillows were flat as if they hadn’t been replaced in a very long time - The lamps were mismatched and didn’t go with the color scheme (it almost felt like they shopped at goodwill for the furniture) - There was no “do not disturb” hanger for the door - I just got the impression that management was more interested in pocketing the profits than reinvesting cash to keep the establishment a higher quality standard. For the price, the place was too run down.
Stains in the ceiling. Generally ok but more used and worn out than I expected after seeing the pictures. That being said the AC worked, the bed was fine, the TV was nice with lots of free streaming. If you want better in the Portland CT area prepare to go north of 300 per night
