Hyatt Centric Juhu Mumbai

Stay in Hyatt Centric was very conflicting. It might be one off and just our bad luck, but for this stay I would say that the only thing I liked was very rich breakfast with kitchen staff being very helpful and preparing custom salads and other things that are normally not part of breakfast buffet.

Now, there's a lot! Again, it might be one off or just our bad luck, but I definitely don't even go back to this hotel again. Firstly, despite the luxurious feel of the hotel, I didn't like that it's very dark. It even has tinted glass in rooms so you can't get normal daylight. It feels like this is type of hotel that people on heavy drugs would love. On one of the day of our stay, there was a party on 1st floor of the hotel, which was not announced to the guests beforehand. When we came to the hotel around dinner time and entered our room, walls and furniture was literally shaking because of sound. I honestly don't know how a 5-star hotel can do something like that to their guest, especially without prior announcement. We immediately requested that they move us to another room, and because we were really pissed at them, they kinda didn't have a choice because it was either that or refund. So they offered us a room on 6th floor, where music was still audible, but not really disturbing as such. But there they tried to gaslight us that we are imagining the noise coming from the party, that our ears are still ringing from 2nd floor. It was so pathetic I can't even describe you how low they went (Shreyas and Vasant). Anyway, after a lot more drama that was going on for 1h already and ruined dinner with friends (because we had to switch 3 rooms), they gave us another room which was okay. Next day they tried to be super polite at the reception, but no way we are ever coming back to this hotel. Behavior of staff in the situation with party and noise was too low, especially for a 5-star hotel. It's a shame, because hotel is very well located, and if they would at least remove tint from bedroom windows and be more civilsed with parties, it could be nice.

Excellent breakfast. Renuka was very attentive and made sure to take care of us. Janavi and Front office staff were very welcoming and efficient. The doorman and security were very good. The 50% discount was good otherwise I would have rated it as too expensive.
