During check in the desk lady was frazzled from a rude guest but she was polite and apologetic. I received our room keys, went to the room, used the key to open the door to find people in the room and it looked like they’d been living there. Next room key received, sent us to a room that had the TV turned on, bed turned down, bathroom light on and the angry woman’s DL on the sink counter. Room 3…. This one was without any people in it but still not the 2 bed room we reserved. I called the desk and said I was done lugging our bags from room to room and they could fix the room issue the next morning. Just as a I feel asleep someone was trying to open the door and then banging on the door. I got dressed, opened the door to find an older couple and the new desk person. I explained this was room 3 of the night for us and I wasn’t moving. My daughter was in the shower and we were there for her to go to Mayo Clinic the next few days and he could give us our new room before we left but I was done. The next morning we ate breakfast, switched rooms again, left for Mayo. The rooms were clean, the staff was nice, the hotel was under construction and we didn’t know prior to arrival. Based on the safety alone of the first interaction I would not recommend staying here. The lady behind the desk was blonde and named Karen, she was in over her head when there was 5 people checking in as well as an angry guest.

Ants on the floor ants in the bed on the patio!!!! Then I get charged $100 for 4 towels that were given (to me to shower with)to wipe up the ants I had to kill myself using hot water I poured out of my own personal mug!!! They didn’t provide or offer ant powder , broom, a mop, a roll of paper towels ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO HELP after I asked specifically for all the things i mentioned. I was charged for cleaning ants out of their disgusting hotel room

Ants everywhere, the floor my bed the door. When I walked desk to ask for help they told me they did not have any powder nor could I use a towel or something to get the ants out with . I had to use water and towels !! Not they’ve kept all of the incidental charges and are claiming the to replace the towels is upwards of seven hundred bucks!!

The room was clean. The shower was nice.

So the hotel is currently going a remodel but still have it 5 stars because there was no construction during my stay and where they was doing it was blocked off by a fence and u couldn’t really see it. Would definitely stay here again

When I checked in the front desk person was not very friendly. He wasn't necessarily rude, but he wasn't very welcoming either. When we checked out, the front desk person was a little friendlier but not much. The friendliest person was the lady stocking breakfast. It was nice that the room had a full kitchenette, and would be nice for a longer stay. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. They could have spot checked a little more, though, as there was a used washcloth and a comb hanging from the shower rod and a q-tip on the bed. The tub faucet was dripping and there appeared to be water damage on the bathroom wall and floor, though.
