Hyatt House Chicago West Loop-Fulton Market

The service - from the cheery valet guy at the front door to the reception staff and friendly bar staff, we were made to feel so at home/

the early breakfasts.... thats our bad though!

I recently stayed at the Hyatt House Chicago / West Loop-Fulton Market during a conference trip. While the hotel itself was comfortable and conveniently located, I unfortunately had a disappointing experience with housekeeping and customer service. When I returned to my room one evening, I noticed that a paper bag was missing from the desk. It contained a gift I had purchased for my daughter, along with some conference papers and receipts. The room had been serviced earlier that day, and the housekeeper had left a card with her name on it. Although the missing items were not of major monetary value, it was upsetting because I had no opportunity to replace the gift before my early morning checkout the next day. I immediately reported the issue to the front desk and provided the housekeeping card. I was assured they would follow up with housekeeping and contact me if the items were found so they could be shipped to me. At checkout the following morning, another front desk associate again took my contact information and promised an update. Unfortunately, I never received any follow-up communication. I later called the hotel multiple times and was eventually advised to email the manager, which I did, including a separate message to the guest services manager. To date, I have received no response. What has been most frustrating is not just the missing item itself, but the complete lack of communication, accountability, and follow-through from hotel management. I expected much better customer service from a Hyatt property.

Location and room was really nice

Didn’t care for the breakfast but overall a nice stay.

The hotel room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. Service was very prompt, friendly and helpful. Security is excellent.

The location was perfect, and the staff was incredibly friendly!

The description was misleading, as it was billed as two bedrooms, but both beds were in the same room with a four foot wall partition.

The breakfast was nice, they even had gluten free options. The location is great.

There was no blanket for the couch bed, just a sheet, we had to ask 3 times before one was delivered. no housekeeping to replenish towels. (2 night stay)

Very clean property and an outstanding staff. Excellent food and beverage options and a location that was very convenient location.
