Absolutely nothing The staff were reasonable and friendly but that's it

The room had a horrible damn smell most of the hotel did Also there was no toiletry facilities in the bathroom such as soap or shower gel Bed was really uncomfortable awful mattress I would never stay here again If I could have my money back I would The door frame was really small almost damaged my wheelchair absolutely no good for a disabled person in a wheelchair

Not much to be honest.

Uncomfortable bed, no wake up call, so much noise from the street outside. The entrance to the hotel reeked of urine. Homeless people sleeping outside the entrance.

Easy booking and check-in, convenient location near the train station, cheap.

I booked a single room here when heading back from a work conference. I took the cheapest option because I assumed all I needed was a place to lay my head overnight, but I regretted it after an absolutely terrible night's sleep. There was no cold water to drink in the room as the bathroom tap ran warm in any position and there were no bottles of water in the room. The room smelt mildly of sewage even with the window closed. The bed was clean and fine, but the walls were paper thin so I could hear everything happening in the rooms around me, including TV-watching, snoring, doors slamming, talking etc. Outside, seagulls and foxes were screaming all night, and I think I heard, for the first time in my life, a seagull and a fox having a fight. I lay there listening to it, wondering where they were, who would win, whether this happened every night. In the morning, it was not difficult to get up for check-out, because I'm not sure I'd actually slept. I got ready quickly, but then couldn't find my way out because of the poor signage to the lifts. I got lost in an endless labyrinth of corridors only distinguishable from one another by interchangeable wall art and differences in the peeling wallpaper, like I was in a bad run of The Corridor escape room video game. There was no-one around, no cleaners or other guests to ask the way, and I wasn't given any check-in information at all except my room key, so had no guidance on the protocol for getting out in the morning. And this hotel is HUGE. One of the corridors was like a bad dream, lined by identical room doors with a mirror at the end, so I could watch myself in the distance making no progress towards leaving. I ended up running down a fire escape stairwell and got down to the 1st floor, but that also wasn't a way out, so I wandered through an eerie empty dining room. Still there was no-one to ask. When I finally emerged onto the street, I was so grateful, I got a rush of dopamine.

Close to New Street Station

Couldn't get the room right , 4th room. 1st one double bed - booked a twin 2nd one- already someone in there 3rd - radiator on full blast , very warm outside and radiator control snapped so couldnt adjust No apologies from staff, they didnt care

Location is absolutely excellent: central to many of central Birmingham's attractions and shopping centres. There's a Tesco Express within a few hundred feet of the hotel, many restaurants within the same range, and Birmingham New Street station is just around the corner.

Room was passably clean — desk and end tables spotless, but the floors and bathroom were dirty enough for me to have to wear my shoes when not in bed. Bathroom had clear signs of water damage with warped flooring and it was bad enough for me to write off having a shower there. Bed was two singles with very hard mattresses pushed together. Uncomfortable and difficult sleep. Stayed for one night on short notice (booked within the same week), so these issues will be worse for longer stays.

A pesar de las malas críticas que leímos las habitaciones del hotel están fenomenal.....reformadas, cómodas, con hervidor de agua, te, secador de pelo, ventilador, la ropa de cama y baño nuevas, los colchones y las almohadas excelentes. El trato del personal fue correcto. Eso sí....la fachada del hotel....que esta en una calle principal da aspecto de abandono y el hall es muy antiguo....y un poco abandonado....pero una vez estas en la habitación todo cambia....lo recomiendo 100%
