Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club

Très bel ensemble hôtelier comprenant des prestations à la hauteur d'un séjour golfique de grande qualité. Endroit calme, bons restaurants, excellent parcours de 18 trous magnifiquement entretenu. Attendez-vous à un départ en groupe (prendre une voiturette).

Accueil au pro shop assez peu avenant - dommage car aux USA on s'attend à de la courtoisie et de la sympathie, omniprésente. Idem au restaurant du bar, service spartiate.

Despite renovations, it was very clean, and the staff was welcoming. Rooms are tastefully decorated, and the bedding was very comfortable.

My only complaint is the lack of restrooms. There were no restrooms in either of the two restaurants. It was easier to go back up to my room to use it rather than walk the very long distance at the other end of the building to locate one.

Outstanding. I ventured back to the old South. I still remember at age 82 when civility was part of our heritage and gentleness was in our demeanor.

Most beautiful and elegant hotel in Durham - gorgeous grounds, lovely bar and quality rooms. We have stayed here for years and would choose no other.

Love the Inn, the staff is wonderful and it is always great Duke experience. Rooms are always clean and well appointed and I love the turn down service

I always stay here and it’s pleasant and always clean. Unfortunately the rehab has created a huge issue checking in and accessing the gym. Hopefully they will complete it quickly

The hotel atmosphere is great like the ballroom, restaurant and bar. Rooms need renovation. There were bugs in the room like fruit flies and I'm not sure what but I had bug bites during my stay. Service as inconsistent. Some were outstanding and some were entitled.

This legendary Durham hotel is showing its age. Rooms feel dated and furniture tired, and bathrooms lack amenities. Still nice to be able to stay close to Duke and have access to a great running trail. But there are more modern hotels.

We had a quick stay so not much to say. We went to visit colleges and needed to stay close to schools. Everyone at the Washington Inn was friendly from valet staff to front desk. The hotel lobby was being renovated at the time of our stay but they tried their best to keep everything clean and smooth running. We only had breakfast here which was delicious and staff was friendly. Our room was clean. It could definitely benefit from some updating but overall we had a great experience.

Beautiful hotel. Rooms are very comfortable, you can have anything you need for a great stay. Best of all: very kind and well-predisposed staff.
