Quality Inn Jessup - Columbia South Near Fort Meade

I didn’t like that the floor boards was coming up. It was very hot in the unit. The bathroom was nice and clean though.

Breakfast was trash like literally they left the milk and yogurt out.. my window was broken in the room.... the whole building was hot and humid.. floor had major water damage

Room wasnt bad.thete is latin dance hall/nightclub next door which had loud music playing till 3:00 a.m. friday night.that was the only dislike

Was not clear about the fact that some rooms were smoking. I asked to be put in a non smoking room and they said they didn't have any so stayed in a terrible smelling room. Bathroom and floors were very dirty. Mold in bathroom and bathtub. Not a great location and partying in the parking lot went on until about 4am.

Its a place to sleep but nothing more. Not awful, not great. Bathroom light wouldn't turn off, window wouldn't lock & we were on the 1st floor, TV putcure was funky, etc. If you just need a place to sleep on a comfortable mattress, this place works. Otherwise, its not a place for nice....well, anything.

I knew it was not going to be the Hilton. I was fine with that. However, I called prior to my stay and asked about the free breakfast and fitness room. I asked if they had eggs at the breakfast, being that I am celiac and can’t eat many of the pastries that hotels serve, I was assured that they would have hard boiled eggs. Neither morning offered hard-boiled eggs. I asked if the gym had a full weight set because the online picture showed that the weight set was sparse. They assured me on the phone that they had a full weight set. When I went down to check the fitness room, the weight set was NOT a complete set and looked worse than the picture. I know the hotels can be loud. I expect that at times. But when I woke up at 2:30 in the morning, there were people outside of my window, which faced the back of the building, partying. I called the front desk and politely asked if he could ask them to just quiet it down a bit because I was trying to sleep. Instead, the music was turned up and nothing was done. I put earplugs in and I woke again at 5:23 in the morning to the people still partying outback. I’ve never written a review before for a hotel or a motel. I’m only doing this review because of the inconsistencies and lies that I was told prior to booking.

I was a little worried from the google reviews to stay here but the price was right so I went for it and I’m glad I did. I didn’t bother with breakfast but everything else was just right for what I needed. I didn’t see any bugs, felt fairly safe (although I did use a backup door alarm) and wasn’t grossed out by anything. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the walls weren’t as thin as expected. The only thing I had a gripe with wasn’t on the hotel but the guests. All nights but one, someone was shouting, yelling or screaming at some odd hour and ruined my sleep. Some woman was screaming about her baby daddy in jail and slamming doors at 6am. Last night it was a small child incessantly screaming at 11pm. I didn’t hear anyone doing normal things in their rooms but obviously if someone is screaming in the hallways, you’re gonna hear it. Would stay here again though!
