Nice hotel with a lovely old fashioned Stube, which I really like. The location is lovely. When I was there, it was very quiet, but staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

A small and secluded country hotel, situated beside a weir on the river Danube in an attractive gorge, close by a few other houses and quite a few miles from anywhere else. Quiet and secluded but with easy riverside walking from the door. Large open parking area close by. Road and railway line nearby, on opposite bank - seldom seen and never heard. A comfortable newly refurbished restaurant overlooking the river serving good local meals. Good breakfast with helpful owners on site.

Clear check in instructions. Brilliant location on the Donau. We were cycling and it is situated on the Donau radweg. Bedroom overlooked the river. Snacks and drinks available on arrival. Good breakfast. Restaurant was shut the evening we arrived but we had made plans for our evening meal in advance so no problem with this.

Nothing. Next time we will visit on an evening when the restaurant is open.

What a beautiful area. We had a great stay here. Very comfortable bed, clean room, and snacks available. As soon as I made the reservation, I received a message from the hotel about checking in after hours. Do yourself a favor...don't wait until you're sitting in the parking lot at 9:00 pm, trying to get in, to translate the message. It all worked out, though, and we had a wonderful time. Lots of trails to explore.
