La Quinta Brunswick/Golden Isles

Staff was great. We had problem with our app and booked wrong date. They solved the problem and spent time to correct problem with our booking agent by phone.

The location was good.

A room had a large hole in the wall behind the door that was halfway patched so there was dust from that on the floor. The floors were also dirty. As was the toilet bowl in the bathroom it didn’t look like it had been cleaned. We requested a new room, but we were told they were sold out and couldn’t do anything about it. The lady at the front desk, Destiny, said she would leave a note for the manager when I asked if we could get a discount. The next morning, the lady at the front desk told us that they were no notes left for the manager and that she couldn’t give us any kind of discount because we had made the booking through Booking.com. We were also unfortunate enough to be located above a patio, we were staying on the second floor, and there was a group of men that were sitting out there till close to two in the morning playing music past 10 and then laughing and talking loudly till about 2 AM. Needless to say I didn’t get much sleep. However, I do have to give credit to the manager, Brandy, since she called us on Monday after our stay and said she had deposited 5000 points to our Wyndham rewards account since we are Wyndham members, and apologized for our trouble.

We had a mishap with our app and somehow the date got changed. The staff got on phone for several times with booking agent and changed dates. We are very grateful for staff that went the extra mile. So yes great experience with staff that cares. Hard to find these days!

We love staying here, its in a perfect location for a stop before WDW. It clean the staff are friendly and helpful and it's a decent free breakfast.

Great newer hotel with comfortable beds, clean rooms, and genuinely friendly staff. The breakfast was surprisingly fantastic and exceeded expectations. The lobby décor initially threw me off a bit and gave my ADHD brain a moment checking in, but once settled in, the overall experience was excellent. Comfortable, clean, welcoming, and well run. I’ll definitely be back.
