The location was perfect for tourists flying in - not too far from the 202 express airport bus stop but also convenient to be in the French Quarter. I also appreciated that the shower was an actual shower with a door and no curtain. Also it was a clean shower. The front desk staff was always cheerful and helpful. Also the A/C worked very well (sometimes too well!).

The beds were terrible. They were so soft it was like sitting on a marshmallow instead of a mattress. Having rooms right next to the elevators? Horrible idea. Between that and the construction garbage containers right under our window that somehow needed to have things thrown around in them at 6 AM, the quality of sleep was terrible. The baseboards looked like they’d never been dusted in the existence of the hotel, the bathroom amenities were of a 2 star hotel, and the lack of decent lighting was really annoying. On top of it all, housekeeping decided not to service our room at all one day even though we were out of our room from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm.
