"Good for heavy sleepers…"

The location is as close as you can get to the action without it being in your face. Lovely old building, the suite is very well furnished. Staff were great. We parked a little further down Canal St overnight for $10 a night with unlimited entry and exit.

The noise… it was unbearable on one of the nights. Which is a bit of shame because the rest of the hotel is great. Dumpsters that get emptied every morning. The neighbours above were so loud which is a downside of hardwood floors. Would’ve made sense for the bedroom to be in the middle room which attaches to the bathroom so it’s further away from the street noise.

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.

The property was within walking distance to everything I wanted to do and see. It also has an excellent restaurant and Oyster Bar attached that can be accessed via the Hotel lobby.
